“You get out what you put in. If you put in a couple minutes and some magic words, you get something that works. But, if you put in a week and take the proper steps; you put in the time and effort to do something worthwhile, you’ll get something far superior to anything that magic can produce.”

OKAY, so, this is simple: Blitz (this version anyway) is a character I've been playing at another site; just so happens that it's a Harry Potter site (set like 70 years or so from now). I made a few small alterations to him, but not many.

Overall Personality: WORST STUDENT EVER – cocky, arrogant, loud-mouthed, snarky, rude and downright crude at times, Blitz can often, and is often, considered to be perhaps one of the worst students a teacher can get. He’s rather intelligent, and he knows it, and that is usually the problem – or so the teachers say. If he’s bored in class, more often than not he’ll show it more than willingly. He isn’t particularly interested in magic, no matter how many people say he should be more interested. He also tends to speak out in class and make rather crude comments, even towards the teachers. And if he gets detention… he usually makes a game out of seeing how long a sentence he can get, saying: “Not like there’s anything better to do in this dingy old castle anyway.”
MOST LOYAL FRIEND – despite how he may act towards teachers, and really other human beings in general, Blitz is really rather loyal to anyone and everyone that befriends him. If he trusts you, he’ll confide in you. If you defend him, he’ll fight for you. If you stand beside him, he’ll protect you. Be it with wand, word, or weapon, Blitz protects his friends, and never lets someone speak ill of them. Heaven help anyone that sees fit to threaten his friends, for they’ll need the aid.
MIND OVER MAGIC – Blitz really does hate it when people use magic to solve simple problems. That habit is perhaps one of, if not the thing, that irks him most. More often than not he’ll try to think through a situation, find a way around it, or apply the proper force. Magic makes things too simple, too easy, or in all reality just plain boring. Mind and body are his tools, and while magic is nice, he finds other ways at every opportunity. Rather than flying on a broom to somewhere high, he’ll climb. Rather than find some way to magic himself somewhere, he’ll walk. Surely it does take him longer to do things, but to him that is a good thing. In his own words: “You get out what you put in. If you put in a couple minutes and some magic words, you get something that works. But, if you put in a week and take the proper steps; you put in the time and effort to do something worthwhile, you’ll get something far superior to anything that magic can produce.”
MILITARY - He may not have been in the actual military, but the Detroit Military Academy might as well have been the highschool equivalent of West Point, Colorado Springs, and Annapolis all rolled into one. While his attitude may not have become better during his time there, his work ethic soared. That work ethic is also the reason why he hates seeing magic used for simple things like opening and closing doors or windows. Some things he can understand it being used for, like lifting things that are too heavy for you to carry alone, or fighting, but for simple things he sees using magic as being lazy. Also, while at DMA, he learned leadership and other skills. Overall, the school instilled in him a sense of honor, courage, and (while it can be hard to get from him at times) repect.
RELAXED - Now, if you thought that having gone to a military school would alter the way he acts, really, at all; you'd be wrong my friend. He jokes, laughs, and is a generally relaxed person. His "military training" only ever kicks in if people need a leader, or something bad is happening. Elsewise, he's just your average guy... well, save the fact that he's a wizard, but yeah - you get the idea. Oh, and please, pleasepleaseplease, DON'T get him started about cars or video games. The world will be a better place, and people will luffle you forever, if you don't.
PLAYBOY - Okay folks, here's what he's famous for (unfortunately). Blitz is a playboy, depite the fact that he doesn't really try to be. You see, the problem comes from the fact that he doesn't know exactly where the border between good-friend, and girlfriend is. That, or he's just a manwhore and won't fess up to that fact - which is what most girls tend to think once they find out about him. Of course, the girls tend to not stop and think about the fact that they never talked about being girlfriend and boyfriend, and that they assumed that they were. Believe me, it happens far more often than one might think possible - and he hates it.
GEEK / DORK / NERD - EVERY guy, EVERY one of um is at least a closet geek, dork, or nerd. Why is Blitz? Comics. Video games. Computers. The list goes on, but if it has to do with electronics, he's into it. Some people think it's strange because he's so opposed to computers being in cars, but to Blitz it's just normal. He loves computer games and comics, his favorite computer and video games being strategy games and first person shooter, and his favorite comic being The Invincible Iron Man. Every time he gets the chance, he's got either some kind of tech or a comic in his hand.
SELF DESCRIPTION - "Alright, before I even get started with this, I want EVERYONE to know that I'm not just tooting my own horn here. This is really the simplest way that I can think to describe myself. First, take Speed Racer and combine him with Tony Stark. Then take away 99.9% of Tony's money and 50% of his brain power. After that, take Trixie out of the picture of Speed's life, toss in a dash of Jack Sparrow, and what you have is me. Not enough money to be a snob, but enough to be well off, a love for racing, and a rockstar attitude. That's me in a nutshell, and no, my writer did not have that explaination planned out. He had me make those comparisons spur of the friggin' moment. Thanks to the dingus. Peace, out."

History: Blitz was born to Kirce and Achilles Von Krieg on July 4th of 1990. Kirce was a young Irish woman, and Achilles was half German and half Greek. Achilles’ father owned a couple auto-shops, and Achilles worked in them during the week. Kirce was a barmaid in her father’s pub during the week, and her mother often watched Blitz as a baby. Blitz also had an older brother named Donner (who was five years his senior). The two boys often saw their grandmother Olivia (a witch), and their grandfather Oberst (a wizard). They also often saw their Aunt Delaney and Uncle Kane, who were a witch and wizard. Their three magical relatives often said that they saw great magical promise in Blitz, but unfortunately saw little to none in Donner. The two boys cared little though – they knew of magic, but had no real wish to learn it.
When Blitz was five years old, he and his mother, father, and brother moved to Paris, France so his father could open another auto-shop for his grandfather. They lived in Paris until the shop was finally up and running. The two boys already knew German, and took to French quickly. When the boys were eight, they moved once again to Detroit, Michigan in the United States. Still young, they quickly took to English and their accents went all to hell having combined German, French, and the English spoken in Detroit, at so young an age. The auto-shop opened in Detroit boomed due to the economy of the time and all the cars that came through. Donner, being old enough, was sent to a military school in the area and helped work in the shop.
At age eleven an owl came with a letter inviting Blitz to attend the United States School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After talking it over with his parents, they came up with a plan that would allow him to both stay in regular school and attend the school of magic. After talking with the headmaster it was approved, the headmaster understanding easily that the young boy should still recieve a proper muggle education. After all, not every wizard partook in magic. It was decided that during the week Blitz would attend normal school, and on the weekends he would venture to the school and recieve and turn in assignments for the school of magic that were to be done during the week.
When Blitz turned twelve, he began working in the shop as well, and loved it. As well, he also began going to the same military school as Donner. Oddly, while most students that went there became upstanding individuals, it seemed that the school brought out the worst in Blitz. He became a rather arrogant, overconfident, loud-mouthed boy. Stranger still though, despite all of that, he worked his way through the school’s ranks and became an officer. He loved it too – he loved the feel of being in charge, and he loved the thought of working hard in his father’s auto-shop. While he was at school he fell in love with two things, or sports anyway: fencing and lacrosse. He entered both, and discovered he had quite a talent for fencing. By the time he was fifteen, he’d already bested his teacher.
Also at fifteen, he, his father, and his brother built his first car – an old 1966 GTO. As soon as he could drive, Blitz was driving that car everywhere he could. He often watched races, and when he was young he’d been to Le Mans and Targa with his father. He had always wanted to compete in the races, but he was still too young to do so. However, at sixteen he started entering in dirt-track races around Detroit. It was not long though after that, that Blitz found that he and his family would be moving again. Having read and worked far ahead in all his classes, for both highschool and the school of magic (though not realy paying much attention to the latter), he turned in everything he had and took the final exams for both. In highschool he passed with flying colors... as far as the US school of magic... he barely scraped by.
In December they moved to Dublin, Ireland and opened another shop. While in Ireland, while many people spoke English, the boys made an attempt at learning some Gaelic, and indeed they did, but not much before they had to move again – this time to London, England. Having finished his year's worth of school before coming over the ocean, he had time to help his dad and race in local tournaments. It was little more than a long vacation for him.
It was on Blitz’s seventeenth birthday, while all his close relatives, grandparents and aunt and uncle were all present, that an owl flew in with a letter... though was quickly chased away by the hawk his grandfather had just gotten him… Instantly (after of course the commotion the hawk caused was over), everyone knew what the letter was, without even having to look at it: an invitation to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Everyone was happy for Blitz, for as of late his magical relatives had been getting the feeling that he was more than ready to show his full potential. Blitz, to save face, put on a happy smile and pretended that he was more than happy to go – the truth however, was that he really didn’t want to go. He didn’t care much about magic or the magical world, but he accepted it anyway. He’d do his parents and relatives proud – but he’d do it in his own way. Before he even left, he promised himself that he would only use magic if he absolutely had to. For anything else, he’d do it with his mind and body.
The reason for this? He believed one thing above all others: “If one is not willing to accomplish something through hard work of both mind and body, you should not use magic to acquire what you yourself are not willing to work for.” He swore to himself, up and down, that he’d keep that as his motto, and thus far? He most certainly has.
=======================
It has been a year since Blitz transfered Hogwarts, and while he was there he met some fairly interesting people. Never-the-less, he returned to the States after his time at Hogwarts ended, even if his parents didn't. His accent is botched all to hell, though he tries to retain the original German accent he had when he was younger. Currently he resides in Los Angeles and oversees a freshly started auto shop, while he has the time.
